My greatest pleasure and honor is to put paintbrush to canvas and, to share with others, how I feel about the great outdoors and the natural beauty of this world.
A love of creating art has been with me lifelong and is enhanced every day by the proximity of the amazing Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park.
I’ve been fortunate to hike, backpack, camp, fish and ski with friends and family for sixty years: the experiences and memories only growing, deepening and informing my artwork with time.
I have hiked over 700 miles of named trails in Glacier National Park, climbed Mt. Reynolds as well as the indomitable Mt. Siyeh with its incomparable view of Cracker Lake.
Although I’ve found nothing to compare to NW Montana, traveling the world over has enabled me to grow through discovering some of the earth’s most beautiful spots, and most beautiful artwork.
Painting is a lifelong and sometimes a personally tortuous journey which has been made possible and enriched by my beloved teachers: Susan Guthrie, Rachel Warner, Rob Akey, Richie Carter and Mark Ogle to name but a few.
I trust my golden years to increasingly be about deepening my painting skills and hope that as I develop, you may find that a piece or two of my artwork may find a way into your heart and speak to you.
