While freediving in the big blue, surrounded by the deep sea, I see the sun light swirling into the deep.

on the realms of the light within us.

This painting is inspired in diving closer to the coast, where the underwater black volcanic rock walls, are embraced by the blue. As the sunlight shines through the water column. Illuminating some of the white algae’s on the rocks.

When we’re breathing at the surface, out in the big blue, we can see the sun rays swirling into the deep. This painting is inspired in this magical experience.

When you’re diving with Blue Sharks, and you’re mesmerized at their gracious beauty, whilst excited with their power.

One of my favourite diving spots is the Princess Alice Seamount, 45 nautical miles southwest from Faial Island. The mobula rays visit us there during the summer. This painting is about the light in the deep blue, while diving with the rays.
